Are AI answers citing you, or your competitors?

When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity about your category, two or three sites get named. We'll tell you whether one of them is yours — and if not, which sites are being cited instead, and what it would take to be among them.

Run by a strategist, not a script. Back within one business day. No obligation, and we won't add you to a mailing list.

  • How often you appear, across engines
  • The specific sites cited instead

What people ask us about GEO

What is generative engine optimisation?
Generative engine optimisation is the practice of getting your site cited in answers produced by AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, rather than only ranking in a list of blue links. Where classic SEO competes for position, GEO competes for citation.
How do you get cited in AI answers?
Language models cite sources they treat as authoritative, which in practice means editorial mentions on publications with real audiences and real editors. Directories, syndicated press and link networks are not cited, because the models weight the same signals a careful reader would.
Can you track whether AI is citing your brand?
Partly. AI answers are non-deterministic — the same question asked twice returns different responses — so there is no single rank to read. What can be measured is citation frequency: ask the same buying question twenty times across several engines and count how often you appear, and who appears instead.
Is GEO different from SEO?
The work overlaps more than the marketing suggests. Both reward genuine authority earned on third-party sites. The difference is what wins: search returns ten links and rewards position, while an AI answer names two or three sources and rewards being one of them.
